Tim Wilson
With over 30 years professional experience across investment banking, private equity and law, Tim is a Director with Henslow where he leads Henslow’s Brisbane office and market presence.
Across Tim’s career, he has gained broad experience in financial services, food manufacturing / wholesaling, healthcare, mining services, education / early learning, and retirement villages.
Notable experiences include:
- Advisory and fundraising in financial services
- Education / early learning investments and board roles
- Advisory food / agri-tech / agriculture roles
Prior to Henslow, Tim was head of Blue Sky Private Equity for 10 years, leading the growth capital team (now “Fortitude Investment Partners”) and venture capital team (now “January Capital”). Before private equity, Tim spent 12 years in investment banking, including with Credit Suisse in London, and Investec Bank in Australia, with a focus on leveraged finance; financial sponsor coverage; and M&A. Tim started his career working as a corporate lawyer with Minter Ellison for 4 years.
Tim holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, Commerce / Law degrees from the University of Queensland, and post-graduate courses from FINSIA and Harvard Business School.
