$1.15m Placement to Accelerate Vanadium Mining Production in Namibia
Golden Deeps Limited (GED) is an emerging low-cost vanadium producer focused on the production of high-grade vanadium products in Namibia.
After reporting highly positive results earlier this year from the sampling of vanadium stockpile and tailings in the first stage vanadium production at its JV Abenab Vanadium Project in Namibia. GED has raised $1.15m through a placement to professional and sophisticated investors to fund the development of its Abenab Project.
Vanadium is predominantly used in alloys, especially with steel, to create gears, axles, crankshafts, jet engines, cladding titanium to steel and superconducting magnets.
Henslow were pleased to act as lead managers to the placement.
“Golden Deeps presents a great opportunity as a low cost, pure-play vanadium player with near term production expected to begin in the first half of 2020 to service traditional vanadium markets. We look forward to continuing to work with GED and their very experienced management team led by Michael Minosora.”
